Virginia Beach Economic Development has been engaging with NORDSEC and Ocean Autonomy Cluster to explore opportunities for reciprocal business support and soft-landing programmes.

Delegation visit to the U.S. in April 2027

NORDSEC and Ocean Autonomy Cluster are also planning a member delegation visit to Virginia Beach and Maryland in April 2027.

The delegation will provide participating companies with an opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the U.S. defence and maritime markets, meet relevant organisations and companies, and explore opportunities for international collaboration and market entry.

Paige Fox is the Acting Deputy Director with the City of Virginia Beach Department of Economic Development, with over 11 years of experience in federal and local government. In her role, she oversees all business development activities including support and incentives for business expansion, and business recruitment in the City’s international and domestic markets. Her portfolio covers cross-industry focuses, including defense, advanced manufacturing, and renewable energy.
