The Norwegian-Ukrainian Defence and Dual-Use Tech Meet-up brings together people with first-hand operational experience and companies working to turn that experience into new technology, industrial cooperation and stronger defence capabilities. A broad range of relevant Norwegian and Ukrainian companies from the defence, technology, research and dual-use sectors will be represented. **Where:** Trondheim **When:** Wednesday, November 11 **Doors open:** 09:00 **Programme:** 09:45–15:30 **B2B event:** 16:00–19:00 **Lunch:** Included **Venue:** The location will be sent directly to registered participants. ### Experience directly from the frontline Ukraine has fundamentally changed the speed at which defence technology is developed, tested and deployed. At this meet-up, participants will hear directly from people operating unmanned systems on the frontline and from the Ukrainian defence industry developing technology under wartime conditions. The programme includes frontline updates from representatives of the 12th Special Purpose Brigade Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine, including: - Deputy Commander for Unmanned Systems - Acting Platoon Commander, 2nd Strike Platoon, UAS Company, 3rd Battalion - Platoon Sergeant in the 12th Special Purpose Brigade They will be joined by **Anton Tabur**, Head of International Partnerships at the Ukrainian Council of Defence Industry (UCDI), and **Natalia Golis** from Free Ukraine. Participants will also get an update on cooperation and MoUs between Norway and Ukraine, as well as lessons learned from NORDSEC's participation in the Trøndelag County Council trade mission to Zaporizhzhia Oblast in the summer of 2026. ### From frontline experience to industrial cooperation The second part of the programme focuses on Norwegian-Ukrainian industrial cooperation. Ukrainian companies will share experiences with developing defence technology under wartime conditions, international cooperation and joint ventures. Companies presenting include: - Frontline Robotics - Ukrprototype LLC - Semantyka Plys - General Cherry - Airlogix/Innokas - Bavovna - DK-Nejet In addition to the presenting companies, a broad range of relevant Norwegian and Ukrainian companies will be represented, creating opportunities to connect directly with potential technology and industrial partners. ### Building defence tech under fire How has Ukraine managed to shorten the distance between an operational need and a working solution? And what prevents successful Ukrainian defence technology from scaling further? The event brought together entrepreneurs, technology companies, industry representatives and experts to explore needs and opportunities within defence and dual-use technology. The objective was clear: strengthen the connections between Norwegian and Ukrainian technology communities and create concrete partnerships. This year's meet-up takes the cooperation further, combining experience directly from the frontline with industrial perspectives, technology presentations and dedicated time for B2B meetings.
