NORDSEC member and partner Radionor Communications has been named Norway’s fastest-growing technology company in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50, after recording revenue growth of 3,165 percent from 2022 to 2025.
The Trondheim-based defence technology company increased its revenue from around NOK 76 million in 2022 to almost NOK 2.47 billion in 2025, putting Radionor at the top of Deloitte’s annual ranking of Norway’s 50 fastest-growing technology companies.
The Technology Fast 50 ranking is organised for the 23rd time in Norway and measures organic revenue growth over four financial years. This year’s ranking also reflects growing demand for technologies supporting defence, security and critical infrastructure.
“It is fantastic that Radionor Communications has succeeded in strong competition, with a fantastic team that has created great results and, not least, capabilities of significant value to society that we need in times like these,” Raymond Søderholm, CEO of Radionor, told MN24, citing a Deloitte press release.
Søderholm also highlighted the work of founder and owner Atle Sægrov and the team behind the company, pointing out that the recent commercial success follows more than two decades of technology development and hard work.
Radionor was founded in 2000 and develops next-generation communication and navigation solutions for defence and other critical applications. Its technology is in operational use by armed forces in several NATO countries.

From long-term development to rapid scaling
The award comes only weeks after Radionor COO Jon Nypan shared the company’s journey at the Nordic Defence and Security Conference in Trondheim.
His message was clear: technological excellence alone is not enough. If Europe wants faster defence innovation and stronger resilience, it must also create the conditions for companies to grow, scale and deliver when it matters. o decades developing and testing its technology before securing its first major Norwegian programme of record in 2025 through the Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency’s Mime Programme.
“After 25 years, Radionor finally won a programme of record in Norway,” Nypan said at the conference.
He also highlighted Radionor’s strategy of investing in manufacturing capacity before confirmed orders arrive. The goal is to have production lines, supplier relationships and industrial competence ready when demand materialises, rather than starting the scaling process after contracts have been signed.
The Technology Fast 50 award provides a striking measure of that transition, from years of technology development to rapid commercial growth and industrial scaling.
Radionor is a member and partner of NORDSEC – Nordic Defence and Security Cluster.
