EnergiPartner AS has joined NORDSEC Nordic Defence and Security Cluster, bringing nearly 100 employees’ worth of expertise in renewable energy, energy efficiency and smart technology integration into the cluster’s growing ecosystem.
Based in Trondheim, EnergiPartner develops and deploys tailored energy systems designed to optimize consumption, reduce costs and improve operational robustness. The company’s portfolio spans solar, micro wind, battery systems and hybrid generators, with particular experience from harsh and Arctic environments where reliability is critical.

For defence applications, this translates into resilient, mobile and low-signature energy solutions suited for forward operating bases, temporary installations and autonomous systems. Hybrid setups combining renewables and storage can reduce fuel dependency and logistical vulnerability, while maintaining continuity of operations.
“Joining NORDSEC gives us access to a strong network of companies working towards the Nordic defence market. While we operate internationally and are not limited to the Nordic region, it is naturally an important market for us. We want to share experience and collaborate on solutions that strengthen both sustainability and operational capability,” says Morten Gaustad, Market and R&D at EnergiPartner.

"Through the cluster, EnergiPartner aims to both contribute and learn: contributing domain knowledge in renewable and hybrid energy systems, while gaining insight into defence requirements, procurement processes and partnership opportunities across the Nordic region," says Børre Sivertsvoll, Divisional Director, Electrification and Infrastructure.
With its combination of sustainability focus and field-proven technology, EnergiPartner represents a relevant addition to NORDSEC’s ambition of building a more robust and future-oriented defence supply chain.
