NOLAB joins NORDSEC Nordic Defence and Security Cluster

NORDSEC Nordic Defence and Security Cluster welcomes Norsk Oljelaboratorium AS as a new member.

Norsk Oljelaboratorium AS is a Norwegian company specialising in oil analysis, condition monitoring, and advisory services for the safe and efficient operation of mechanical systems. Through targeted testing of oil, fuel, and cooling water, the company supports condition-based maintenance and helps identify early indicators of mechanical wear and potential failure.

According to General Manager Martin Ingebrigtsvold, the company is increasingly focused on data-driven maintenance strategies:

“Our core business is to contribute to the safe and efficient operation of mechanical equipment through targeted testing of oil samples, reporting and consulting on condition-based maintenance.”

He also highlights how the company is looking to expand its analytical capabilities:

“We want to make our services accessible to new markets and collaborate with other businesses within the defence sector. This includes testing of oil, fuel, and cooling water, as well as using historical data, artificial intelligence, and trend analysis to predict when mechanical failures may occur.”
