The framework agreement will cover the Armed Forces' total requirement for onepersontents over the next seven years. “Effective field solutions are essential to soldiers’ ability to carry out their missions. Following a thorough procurement process, we have selected a tent system that meets  the Norwegian Armed Forces’ requirements for flexibility, durability and functionality. These one-person tents will provide soldiers with favorable conditions for sustained operations in diverse and demanding environments, making an important contributionto the Armed Forces’ operational capability,” says Tomas Beck, Head of Land and Joint Capabilities at the Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency. ![Signing](https://www.nordsec-cluster.no/hs-fs/hubfs/Signing.jpg?width=2100&height=1576&name=Signing.jpg) In the Armed Forces' testing, the one-person tent Oskar Pedersen are supplying achieved the highest score on quality, and considerable weight was given to durability and to innovative solutions that can make a real difference for the individual soldier. “As a supplier of a wide range of defence solutions, it is crucial for us to collaborate with suppliers that have extensive experience and specialist expertise in their respective fields. When it comes to tents, Barents Outdoor is that supplier. The one-person tents we will be supplying to the Norwegian Armed Forces are particularly well suited to units where mobility, dispersion and concealed accommodation are essential,” says Truls Oskar Pedersen, CEO of Oskar Pedersen AS. The framework agreement includes several configurations tailored to different climatic and geographical conditions.
